Overview: Hey! My name Katie. I'm looking for a sitter job in Brooklyn, New York. I am committed to helping you out when you need an extra hand. Whether you need someone to drive the kids to activities, or keep them occupied through the day, I'm your girl. Service Abilities: I am comfortable doing date night supervising, meal preparation, and swimming supervision. I have a lot of experience from my teen years, as I was the most popular babysitter in my small town. Why? I am an artist and young designer, and I know the best art projects for kids. In fact, one summer the moms I babysat for at the time, proposed I run a small kids camp for their daughters for one week. I agreed, and each day I had a separate activity planned, always relating to art and energy. I a plethora of experience when it comes to dealing with arguments or mishaps between the kids. As the youngest, I think I have learned that compromising is the one of the most effective ways of ending an argument. I had an internship for school credit during my junior year of high school during which I worked along side the elementary school art teacher two days a week. I assisted her lessons with the fifth graders one day and the kindergartners the next day. Fun, radiant and expressive, I have great communication skills with kids. I played on the varsity basketball and soccer team in high school, giving me another niche with the kids, maybe even some motive to get them outside to play or walk to the park.
