Sitter in Lovettsville, Virginia

Hello! I'm a mom of 3 and provide in-house, drop in daycare or date nights in NTM, Lovettsville, VA. I provide care, love, and assistance in all areas of development as I do with my own children. I have had 20 years of experience in child care (started babysitting when I was 11 years old and also the oldest of siblings in my family) and also 13 years serving/teaching children with developmental disabilities such as Downs and CP, and pervasive disorders within the wide ranges of Asperger's and Autism (started respite care for children and adults with DD when I was 19). I have taken classes on CPR and First Aid (infant, children, adult and special method classes for developmentally disabled) every couple of years since 1999. I provide healthy meals and snacks. I believe in healthy foods and drinks and also physical play/exercise. We have indoor/outdoor play areas and a playground near by as well. * I facilitate age-appropriate learning activities, crafts, music and organized play. I have had several years experience in the Pre-K and Elementary settings and have lots and lots of material to use for education. I also have 5 years experience in Speech Pathology assisting for birth through Middle School ages. I will work on things like potty training, school work/preparedness, practice speech therapy/development, and gaining independence/experience in other areas of development. Ask anything!! Thanks!!
