Hi, my name is Lida. I grew up in PR and always loved kids. My first job since I was 13 y/o was tutoring and baby sitting kids and later teenagers in my neighborhood: I used to love it. After I graduated from advertising and worked in an agency I realized (at 28 years old) how much I want to go back to taking care of kids, play with them and/or help them with homework. I currently live in New York City with a roommate in Chelsea. I am hard working, organized, collaborative, committed, very positive and love kids and pets too! Also, I am flexible with my schedule. I find it important to meet with the parents and discuss the following: - Kids schedule (TV time, homework, play outside, taking any medicine, snack eating, bathing, etc.) - Do they need help with homework? - Food and/or any allergies? - What kind of foods they eat (vegetarian, meat-eating, etc.)? - What does your kid enjoy doing? (ballet, sports, reading, learn to bake, etc) - Is there anything else I should know? Additionally, I've been doing yoga for 3 years and I am currently a certified instructor (Dharma Yoga).
