Hi my name is Kelly and I am looking to babysit weeknights or weekend days or nights, or occasional days. I recently graduated from the University of Iowa to receive my masters degree in Social Work and I moved back to the area last month. I am a licensed social worker and I work with children who are three and under who have autism for early behavior intervention work prior to preschool. I am an independent contractor, so I can be very flexible with my hours. I love kids and I have babysat since age 11 whether I am working, in school, or both. I have worked at summer camps, preschools, had various babysitting jobs, and I have worked on a children/adolescent psychiatric unit at Mercy Hospital. I have also been a volunteer for big brothers/big sisters for the last four years. I have watched children from age 5 weeks to 18 years old. I also have experience with children with ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, and other disorders, as well as substance abuse. I am first aid and CPR certified. I can be pretty flexible, as long as it is not a time which I have classes. I typically charge $15- $20 an hour depending on hour long and how many children, etc. If interested please contact me.
