Rowan was very responsible, helpful and kind to my children. She was able to cook for them, feed them, take them to activities and keep them busy with crafts and or baking. She is a very good nanny! Totally recommend her.

Rowan started baby sitting our two children when they were five and two years old; our children are now ten and seven. Our son has anxiety disorder and leaving him in the care of others was always very stressful because of how he would cry and cling to us while begging us not to leave him. Rowan was 13 when we first interviewed her and introduced her to our kids. We are a family that limits tech and believes the outdoors is the best play space for our kids. Rowan had no issue with our requests for the kids to be outside or doing something other than TV or video games. She usually came prepared with books, games, crafts or recipes and actually engaged our kids rather than simply supervising them. Our kids loved her so much they often asked us if we could go out so that Rowan could baby sit them. Homework was completed and bedtimes kept with no issue. If she did involve tech in her time with our kids, we were always shown the tech first and asked if it was OK. We were so sad as a family when Rowan told us she was moving. We have interviewed a handful of sitters and have yet to find one that meets the standard that Rowan set.

Rowan looked after my two elementary school aged boys for a number of years. She asks good and thoughtful questions and was attuned to their interests and preferences. She planned activities and brought along appropriate supplies. My youngest son has ADHD and she was very sensitive to his needs. Rowan kept the house tidy, respected our family's rules, and prepared light meals as required. She absolutely became a part of the family! She is a thoughtful, gentle and kind young woman.
