Sitter Job in Nanaimo, British Columbia

We are currently looking for a babysitter for our almost 2.5 year old daughter. We actually are not from Nanaimo, we are just going for a wedding but it is a child-free wedding and our babysitter that we were going to bring with us had to cancel just recently. We also have good friends in Nanaimo who are also attending the wedding (which is why they can't sit for us) who are in the market for a fairly regular babysitter. So basically, if we are able to find a babysitter for this event and everything goes well we will be definitely be referring that person to our friends in Nanaimo. A bit about our family; We live in Port Hardy on the north end of Vancouver Island. We have an almost 2.5 year old daughter who is quite friendly and happy. She LOVES playdoh..... like seriously loves it, so if you ask her to make you pizza she will expect you to pretend to eat it. She also loves books, dressing up like a princess, and dancing. She eats pretty much anything, she has no allergies or any health issues. A bit about our friends who are in the market for a fairly regular babysitter; My best friend is a stay at home mom of two. She has an almost 3 year old daughter and a one year old son. Her husband works full-time at Harmac. They need someone they can hire a few times a month so they can either go on dates or run errands. Their daughter is very sweet but definitely quite shy at first. Their son is not quite walking comfortably yet but he can definitely motor around. Neither of their children has any allergies or health concerns. They do have a large dog but she is very friendly. They are really wonderful people and they don't have much family in the area that can help. They are very generous and friendly.
