I previously worked at Hopscotch Learning Academy. I worked there from July 2014, starting shorty after graduating from Genoa, to August 2017. In the time I worked at Hopscotch, I worked with all ages. The majority of the time worked with ages 6 weeks to 18 months. I also worked a lot with ages 18 months to 6 years. While working at the daycare I have learned from and experienced a lot of different children. My responsibilities included: Supervising and monitoring the children in my care. Preparing meals and snacks for the children. Helping children keep good hygiene. Organizing activities and a curriculum that allow the children to learn about the world and explore interests. Developing schedules and routines to ensure children got enough physical activity, rest, and playtime. Keeping a record of children's progress, routines, and interests. I used play and other techniques to help the children's development. Through all of this I learned that I love to care for children of all ages and enjoy helping them grow.
