Hi, my name is Heather Edwards. I am looking to babysit in Vero Beach, Florida. I am 19 years old, I am looking for kids of all ages and i am open to all hours. I am taking the Department Of Child and Families daycare worker course online. I have currently finished 3 courses. I believe in quality care. I do not believe in putting your child in front of the t.v or computer. I believe in engaged learning, and learning through playtime. I have lots of outdoor activities that enhance learning, motor skill development, and they have fun. I love reading and I think the love of reading starts at a young age. I will advocate for them to read read read. I will help them learn to read, write, colors, animals and noises. I will not force a child to learn if he or she doesn't want to. We will just redirect to a diffrent activity but it will not be watching tv, playing video games, etc. I fully believe children of this age is our next generation and with that they need to start learning at a young age. I also will help with older kids teaching, helping with homework. Just because your kid may be older doesn't mean they can't learn. I will help the older child stay off the street, help them learn day to day skills such as chores, Balancing check book, creating a budget, cooking, and work on emotional development and intelligence. I want to offer high quality service at a low price. Most of what i am paid will go back into your child. I am not doing this to pay my bills i am doing this because it is what i love to do. Plus i want to give everyone a fair shot at the childcare you and your child deserve. I hope to hear from you to set up a meeting so we can chat and I could meet your child.
