I am currently enrolled in my 3rd year of college, I am majoring in Early Childhood Education which will lead to a teaching position with children as early as an infant. I have 5 years of experience working with children. I have worked with summer camps, babysitting children around the neighborhood, as well as family friends. My latest position has been an assistant teacher in an after school program at the local YWCA in yonkers. With that position, I was able to move around different areas of the day care. For example, working in the infant, toddler, and pre-school age groups. I am trained in many areas such as CPR, Emergency Preparedness, Obesity prevention, Keeping children safe: Prevention of lead poisoning & other Dangers to children, Family Engagement, Preventing shaken baby syndrome, School age childcare, Supervision of children, & Transportation.
