Hi there, my name is Audrey. I am currently in my freshman year of college at John Jay College of Criminal Justice majoring in Criminology, but due to COVID, I am studying at home for at least the next school year. Before the pandemic, I was working at CMASP (Classroom Matters After School Program) with elementary-aged children. I was responsible for accompanying children from school to the program center, observing and monitoring children's play activities, maintaining a safe play environment, communicating with parents/guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues, assisting in preparing food and serving refreshments to children, cleaning up around the program center, taking children on outings, and encouraging healthy activities such as reading, crafts, and playing with others. I also have been babysitting in my neighborhood and with family friends since I was in middle school, so I consider myself well versed in babysitting. I am excited to continue to pursue my love of working with children, and I know I would be a good fit for any family seeking a babysitter at these trying times.
