Hello my name is Alena, Let me tell you a bit about myself and experience I have with toddlers and infants. I was able to watch about 5 children at one time. I can multi task and do all sorts of activities without being side tracked. I am Bilingual in Russian, am CPR and first Aid certified I took a nursing assistant course so I am very huge on safety and comfort. I own my own car, it is insured and I have an excellent driving record. I am a huge clean freak :) so if you would like I could clean up each room paying attention to detail, that is only if you prefer. I really need the extra cash now that I am in school so if you are willing to pay me a few extra bucks I could sparkle the place up (that's just a thought). My mother used to have her own daycare in Portland for over 9 years. I was always helping her, either with helping to watch the children, entertaining them, cleaning up, playing games, reading and feeding. I worked with kids ages newborn to twelve year old children & kids diagnosed w/ ADHD. My mom and I took classes on child safety and education. My mom watches 6 kids now and I always help out. I basically raised my little brother and baby sister. I do have experience with cloth diapers and cloth wipes. I can cook any meal that you might be interested. I always strive to feed children the healthiest meal (veggies, fruit, milk, grains and protein. Here are my accomplishments; HIPPA educated. Blood Borne Pathogen educated/certified, bilingual (Russian). I received awards for perfect attendance, attitude, effort & GPA, leadership. A creative thinker, fast learner, problem solver Communicate intelligently and work well with people and in groups. Like hands-on work. CPR & First Aid Certified. Aiming to achieve experience on the job site, I hope that this opportunity would allow me to practice my management and organizational skills on the work site. I desire to work with people and strive for customer satisfaction. Graduated from Clark County Skills Center (CCSC) (training program for high school students). I was enrolled in Applied Medical Science course. . I always strive to do my best and keep my customers happy and comfortable around me and my work. I love working in busy environments, and am self starter requiring very little supervision. I believe I can make a positive contribution to this position, and am looking forward to the opportunity to work with your children. I can also (optional) watch your child/children at my home. One more thing I can't do live-in nanny positions. I'm in college now, but my last class is ending Dec. 15 so I am free everyday full-time from then, I do have a class on Friday scheduled (But I can cancel this if the right position comes along). I really hope to work something out so that our schedules don't collide.
