Hello! My name is Kay, I'm 20 years old and currently live in Florida. I would not mind relocating for a job as a nanny though! Let me tell you all a little about myself! I grew up in Indiana and still have a lot of family in Michigan, where my parents are from. I have a younger brother(7) and sister(15) and practically helped my mother take care of my brother, which was a nice learning experience since I was 12 when he was born. I have also babysat many children ranging from new born to about 10 or 11, that is not including my siblings. My senior year, I went to a Christian high school and was given the opportunity to substitute in a preschool and work with the Kindergarten class as well! I Also was given the opportunity my senior year to babysit my principal's children, one being Autistic! It was a challenge, but I have learned so much and have a much different appreciation for special needs children! I love music, arts, crafts, and being creative, this has given me the desire to go to school for Elementary Education! I love the idea that I would get to be creative and come up with my own ways to run a class! In order to do this though I have to finish college, and currently am financially unable to. I have two years done but am trying to work and save money in order to go back. I recently have made a decision, thanks to a nanny friend of mine, that I want to become a nanny! I'm not sure if it is going to be a long term career for me or just for a few years before I go back to school, but what I know now is that I would rather quit my current job and be able to play with kids all day! Considering children is where my heart is, I couldn't even picture myself doing anything else!
