Nice to meet you! My name is Stacie. I am a child care provider who has my CPR/First Aid training. I have actually been working with the elderly mostly for the past 20 years. Unfortunately, over the past number of years, it has been the trend to put mentally handicapped youngsters in with the elderly at group homes and nursing homes, so I received training in that way. Also from the time I was 18 until 32, I was an off and on nanny/caregiver for a couple of different families. Sometimes I would even have the children for an entire weekend, either in my own home, or stay at their home.
