My name is Marcia, I am 18 years old and currently a student at SBCC, I grew up in a small town about two hours south of San Diego and am relatively new to the SB area. I grew up speaking two languages which include English and Spanish. My experience comes from taking care of my baby cousins on the regular they range from 7 months to 15-year-olds. as well as some of my neighbors' children. I would regularly walk them back from school, make sure they ate, showered, completed homework, and enjoyed free time having fun. Skills that I have learned through babysitting my cousins and other children in my neighborhood include responsibility, organization, communication, and patience.
