Hi! I'm Elaine - nice to (virtually) meet you! I recently left my work (at a large NW medical clinic) to be a stay at home mom to my 14 month old daughter. I'm looking for another little one (or 2) to join us as we go about our days - my daughter is an extrovert and loves being around other little ones. We enjoy spending our mornings out (Zoo, Library, Telus Sparks, Play Group, etc), returning home for a healthy lunch and a nap and the rest of our afternoons playing, doing arts and crafts, going to the park, reading and singing rhymes. I'm a firm believer in mothering (and watching little ones) in a warm and caring manner and believe that routines and boundaries are essential. I'm excited about teaching my daughter (and your little ones) their A,B,C's and 1,2,3's and other little tidbits as we go about our days. (I have a degree in science). We have a beautiful area in our home for the children to play and a park on our street. I'm willing to do before/after school care (we're in Hawkwood), part time or full time care. I'm looking for $6/hour/child - only paying for the time your little one is under my care.
