Hi, my name is Sage Meade. I grew up in the West Village in Manhattan New York. I am currently nineteen years old and have a lot of child care experience. I love visual arts, baking, and of course children. For the longest time, I knew I wanted to work with children professionally. I always worked closely with my mother in our own private baby sitting service. My mother was an older parent, so my job was to entertain and allow children to gain the exercise they needed. As I got older I began to work at an over night summer camp (which I went to for 8 years). I worked at the Barn Day Camp in Plymouth, Vermont. I specialized in care for 4 to 5 year old children, and would host over night trips in the wilderness. I gained a lot of knowledge on how to comfort and a care for children. This experience was life changing for me. Because of my summer job, I am now CPR and Lifeguard certified. I am currently looking for a summer job in New York City, and working with children is my dream. I am currently going to school for Child and Infant Psychology. I will be heading back to school on August 26 of 2016 but, for now, I am free and very flexible until then. I am an excellent cook and a wonderful person. I love to work with parents and children so that I can further my understanding of children. Another special attribute about me is that I am an adopted child. So, for parents with an adopted child I can help and guide them through understanding the mind of an adopted child (if needed). I currently found my birth parents, and embrace them with open arms.
