Hi ! I'm a 37 year old married woman without children. I'm a non smoker and I have many pets but I keep them in a separate room when I watch children in my home. (Tortoise, guinea pigs, outside cats, fish, and two sweet dogs who have their own room.) I currently care for my elderly neighbor which is why I would prefer to watch children at home most often, but I could certainly leave to do a few hours for date nights if it was needed for your family.
