Sitter in Anderson, Indiana

My name is AdriAnn Smith. I'm a 45 yr old mother and also have a 9 yr old son ,,Addison. I've worked in the medical field for over 25 years so I am indeed CPR Certified as well infant cpr certified. When my son was born I decided to open up my home and provide childcare for others so that I would not miss these Precious Yrs with my son. I'm extremely energetic, super creative and take the job of caring for children very seriously as if they were my own. I live 9 houses from Community Hospital in Anderson ,IN and I'm available at all hours most every day. My specific enjoyment are the toddlers years ! I do a lot of preschool education with all of them daily (they call it school lol) getting them ready for kindergarten. We work:Shapes,colors ,numbers ,⌚Time, writing & sounding out of letters to make words , reading ,same&, opposites, Etc. We are consistently doing interesting fun creative ✂️art projects, reading, music, and even in the winter, I keep them up&moving. We definitely don't do alot of sitting around and watch TV! I have been a Certified Activity Director thru state of Indiana for over 16yrs . This has given me the opportunity to come up with lots of neat Creative ideas &ways to teach my toddlers the basics on how to communicate better, how to handle emotions, how to work/play together, how to share ,accomplish goals together& promoting self pride. I truly try to be silly and fun with them always however make sure they know how to respect elders.I do timeouts when necessary and give accomplishment/rewards stickers when earned & daily reports for parents. I charge$25 a day. for 6-8 hrs. Overnight $35. I provide food and snacks. only ask if not yet potty trained for you to provide diapers/wipes .I can also work on toilet training as well .( I personally Have successfully transferred 8 toddlers since 2017!!!) Im available to do part time,full time or , last minute babysitting, occasional date night, or if you are just needing some "Me time"! Believe me I know how hard it is being a full time employee, being a mother,& just needing someone reliable & trustworthy on your team! I have no problems with last min care, as well provide overnight care if needed. I do take sick Children and have a bedroom separately set up for such events. I do own my own safe vehicle , , which is fully insured and can pick up or drop off if prearranged. I try very hard to keep them on a pretty consistent schedule so that every visit they know what our day will be like,&will always feel safe/comfortable so they can just worry about being kids!
