Hi. My name is Laila Hernandez. I live somewhere near Orchards Dr SW in Edmonton. I am 54 yo and presently looking for a nanny job. I used to be a professional travel agent in the Philippines for the longest time and a college graduate. Last 2015, I decided to quit my job and went to the US. Basically, my experiences as a hands on caregiver or nanny duties were more of personalized. When I was in the US, I took care of my elderly parents for a few months, especially my mom who was diagnosed w/ early dementia. Then Sep 2015, I went back to the Philippines and took care of my one and only grandson who was born that Sep until Jan 2017. I was forced to go back to the US because of my mom who needed full attention. I arranged for her home health needs, for a caregiver, other amenities to make their lives easier. When I went here in Canada last Jul 23rd, I was able to find a part time job in a day home with 4 toddlers and 4 kids. When I was in the US, I also did some volunteer works in a facility for elderly people with special needs. Back in the Philippines, as I took care of my only child while working professionally, my sister's 4 children were left under my care and guardian for many years. So basically, I can say I am a loving, fun, caring individual with so much heart & passion for children. I would like to establish myself here in Canada and a sponsorship will be greatly appreciated.
