I,m also involed in the kinship program with dss where i have kids come in to my home for periods of time. it supposed to be related, but most are not. I just had the plesure of having a one years old sickle cell child and a lil boy with stage 4 kidney disese. Since they been with me they health change and was able to come of some of the meds that he was on pior to my care. They resently went back in the care their parents.
