Hello! My name is Manasvi. I'm looking to work as a care-giver in Abbotsford, British Columbia. I love children and am capable of providing babysitting, nanny and daycare services. I am currently a visual arts student at the University of the Fraser Valley and I have almost 6 years of child-care experience. I have managed children from the age of 6 months to 12 years of age. After my under-graduation in Sociology, Psychology and Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, I travelled to Nepal for a month as an AIESEC volunteer to teach children dancing, value creation, English language, arts and crafts. My work also included preparing meals, naps, story-telling time and fun activities for them. Besides that, I have been a part of 90-day long spiritual summer camps for children in India conducted by the well-known Chinmaya Mission over two summers. I executed various performances and activities throughout the camp for them and for their parents. I also have experience with children who have special needs and can happily work with them too! I'm available for part-time till late evening (depending on availability) from Monday-Sunday and can adjust my schedule as required. A few highlights of my experience include : A) Teaching children various educational, health and personal habits, including eating, resting, toilet training and familiarizing them with their environment. B) Reading to children and leading them to diverse activities such as arts and crafts, songs, outdoor play. C) Excellent at balancing multiple tasks while demonstrating superior organisation, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. My child-care skills and experience, along with my positive and friendly nature, position me to excel in this role! I would love to meet you and discuss anything else you would like to know.
