Hi! My name is Laura and I am in search of a part or full time childcare position. I was born and raised in Alaska and just moved to the Seattle area. I immensely enjoy working with children and infants; I've volunteered from a young age in nurseries and Sunday schools, and have 4 years experience with 5 children (ages infant-8 years old) with varying high functioning special needs. I can accomplish most everything from simply changing diapers to helping with homework if need be. I love helping kids stay active outside and encouraging them to learn and try new things, I am a huge advocate of reading and making the most of everyday learning opportunities. I always make an effort to leave people homes in better condition than when I arrived, and have no qualms about doing minor housework if requested. Ideally I d love to work with 1-2 children ages infant to 4 years old and I prefer to work between 7am-5:30 p.m. I would love to hear from you and discuss if we would be a good fit for each other.
