Hi, I'm Lizzy! I love kids, especially infants-elementary kids. I will be receiving my Bachelor's degree in May 2023. I am majoring in pediatric speech-language pathology, but I am taking a gap year before I apply for Grad school. I am great with kids and have experience babysitting infants and young children. My oldest sister has an at-home daycare and I used to volunteer to help her with her kiddos. I used to help her care for infants and toddlers, and I currently still babysit my nieces and nephew, ages 5 and under. I am reliable, punctual, and very responsible. I have my own car and have never received any kind of traffic violation. I am a little introverted at first, but I quickly come out of my shell. When I babysit, I try to not have the tv on too much because I believe in learning through play and interaction. Of course, I still love to watch cartoons and sing along to Disney movies whenever I can! Because I am studying to become a speech therapist, I have some great skills in child development and learning strategies. I am currently still enrolled in college, so I would offer part-time sitting at first, but starting in early May, all my classes will be online, so I will be available any time! I am so excited to work with kids and to watch them learn and grow! I understand that finding the right sitter can be difficult. That is why I make it a priority to be reliable and communicative.
