This extraordinary friend has been in my life for over forty years. My own parents thought the world of her when we were young (we met in high school). The fact that my Mom and Dad held her in such high esteem made it easy to value her input and wisdom as I established my own family. Our relationship with Traci goes beyond far beyond trust and loyalty. We recently fostered a three year old girl in early 2020, and were elated when Traci agreed to be listed as a caregiver in that process. She not only walked beside us through unknown territory, but faithfully endured the challenging and sometimes unpleasant licensing and application processes. I've had a multi-decade front row seat to the wonderful effects and outcomes Traci's had on the families she's worked with. Connections were made. Growth flourished. Families thrived. They were lucky to have her there. I have also entrusted the safety, well being and enrichment of my family to Traci, so I've nothing but the highest recommendation for her, of course. And quite literally, any family will find themselves fortunate upon any association with Traci Thompson.
