I am Virginia White, a Junior at the University of Auburn looking for a summer job as a Nanny, considering being a live in Nanny. My availability is flexible, as I am taking online classes this summer through Auburn and wanted to spend the summer working in a new city. I enjoy working with children because they are constantly reminding me of the simplicity of life, and I think they are the most important gifts we can be blessed with. Services And Training: I am certified as a Wilderness First Responder, which covers First Aid/CPR/AED as well as wilderness medicine. I can provide transportation in Honda CR-V, and I have lots of experience teaching children various skills. For the past four summers, I have worked at 2 summer camps as a camp counselor for children ages 5-18, teaching a variety of topics: environmental lessons, team building, swing dancing, and arts and crafts to name a few. I have experience tutoring in math and Spanish, and I would feel comfortable tutoring in many other subjects as well. I was also a life guard and swim instructor for 2 years teaching children how to swim, dive, tread water, and feel comfortable in the water. During the school year I work as a youth minister at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Auburn for youths ages 11-17 leading bible studies and fellowship.
