Sitter in Oakbank, Manitoba

I'm an
Individual
Hello, my name is Claire. I live in Oakbank, Manitoba and I am seeking a nanny placement hopefully around there, Dugald, or East St. Paul area of Manitoba. I am trustworthy, patient, nuturing, and responsible caregiver that loves children. Who knows the importance of playing and teaching even the youngest of minds, while still having fun! I'm aiming to contribute my experience from years working as an Educational Assistant in Elementary schools (with a University Diploma) as well as respite working with children with special needs, in home childcare (babysitting since 12 :) and preschool/school age daycare settings. Above my substantial experience, I have clear criminal record/ child abuse registry checks, clean driving record, have a car, trained in first aid & CPR & NVCI. *Must be okay with my infant son (13 months) coming to work with me between typical 9 am -5 pm. He is very friendly and loves to play with other children of all ages. It's also is great for socialization, learning parallel play and sharing from one another. While still having the comfort of being safely cared for in their own home. I have experience looking after multiple children with my son this past year while I was on maternity leave. To help our family members out. (a 1 year old, also a 3 year old & 6 year old on mutiple occasions) I understand now as a mother how hard it is to trust someone to give the quality of care as you would give to your own child. In daycare settings, even though they are great they spread themself so thin the quality is often missed. As baby/infants are 4 to 1 Adult & preschool/school age children can be 8 to 1 Adult. You need to be able to trust and feel like your child is safe when you leave for work. I plan to treat your child/children like my own and care for them as you instruct in your home, a familiar comfortable place following their routine to nurture their full potential. I'm open to before and after care or part time (minimum 15 hours a week) & full time nannying. Also available school inservice days and possibly occasional evening weekend shifts. Services And Training: I am comfortable meal preparation, tiding up, love baking with children and making crafts/arts, reading books of all levels, teaching early childhood educational (Abcs, numbers, colours etc), sensory play, homework help, swimming, daily outdoor activity, and pet care (I was also a Veterinary Assistant for 5 years prior changing careers).
