When caring for children I strive to be an adult that can provide each child with security and safety, while allowing them to grow and explore the world, their thoughts, opinions, and feelings. I believe in building each child's confidence in themselves and their abilities. I have worked for many families for over 7 years, providing in home childcare. I have also worked at Hampshire Franklin Daycare as a classroom assistant. While there I watched over the classroom and children, encouraging healthy play and exploration. I assisted with nap time, outside time, snack and lunch, as well as the pickup and drop off transition periods. I currently Nanny a 10 Month old on Fridays. I am confident in my care taking skills, and feel comfortable with them. I love the way children view the world, their acceptance of all people and their fun and eager energy.
