In a sense, my whole life has involved the care of children. My mother ran an at home daycare as well as homeschooling me and my siblings from the time I was a baby even until now. Growing up in this environment has given me a natural ability to interact and care for children. In addition to this, I have volunteered/assisted/coordinated childcare groups of up to 30 children ages infant-8 years old. I have volunteered summers with vacation bible study groups ages 4-13 years old. I currently volunteer in childcare at a homeless rehab center for families. In addition to volunteer experience with children, I have cared for children of all ages, small families, medium sized families, and even families with up to 10 children. I have 7 good years of experience watching children as I'm going on 20 years old. I am currently working to pursue my degree in social work (hopefully working with kids!)
