I have cared for children as young as 1 year old and as old as 5. My experiences in caring for toddlers and early school aged children have taught me not only to think on my feet and but also how to find creative ways to entertain children and to keep them busy. While living in Brazil, I volunteered with orphaned children. The experience taught me not only how to deal with children in larger numbers but also how to be patient and how to communicate with children from a multitude of different backgrounds.
