Sitter in Prince George, Virginia

Hi,! I am a 20 year old female college student who is currently looking for a job. I have a car and lots of time on my hands. I live in Prince George, VA. Starting my sophomore year of high school, I regularly babysat 3 children who lived in my neighborhood ages 4-10. This required me to pick the youngest up from preschool and prepare meals for the children. I would take them to restaurants and Swaders, at times. I also babysat a 5 year old in the afternoons and evenings for 5 years. I worked as a camp counselor for 4-H camp for a couple of summers. I was on the Prince George Royalettes Dance Team and we hosted day camps for children ages 2-14 every summer (these were basically babysitting days for us). I've taught and watched children at summer camps at J.E.J Moore Middle School. I just returned from Oaxaca, Mexico where I watched children and volunteered as an ESL teacher. This past semester I did an internship and got to mentor young women and the Boys and Girls club in Southside Richmond, VA. I love children and love working with them. Two summers ago, I worked with an international non-profit called buildOn. Four friends and I went to go build a primary school in Senegal, Africa for younger children. I've also volunteered in a church nursery in the past. Two semesters ago, I did an internship with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and was a mentor to a young girl in Petersburg, VA at Walnut Hill Elementary school.
