Sitter in New York, New York

Hello! I'm Stefania, and I've been sitting for more than half my life. I babysat a 6 year-old boy named Eli in Jersey City this past April, and I also babysat a 10 year-old boy named Jackson from last January to May; I have both their mothers' contact information for reference, if needed. I've taken care of my sister since she was born and she's now 15, so I've had experience with all the ages in between. I have extensive experience watching multiple children, as I have also babysat my cousins, two who are twins and one who is my sister's age, all throughout their lives. They and a 9 year-old who I babysat for 8 months have ADHD, in case any parents are hesitant to find a sitter, I am ready and willing to help. I also tutored a 13-year-old with ADHD for 3 months, in case any students who have trouble concentrating need assistance. I was a camp counselor in a summer program for kids ranging from 4-13 years old, so I have watched about a dozen children at varying ages simultaneously. I am patient, open-minded, and understanding. If a child is frustrated, I hear them out and let them express their thoughts and feelings. I do not tolerate disrespect but I am not harsh; I approach things calmly and rationally. I love pets and am ready to care for them as well. I absolutely love reading and reading to children! I enjoy spending time and bonding with kids, and from my experiences they've also enjoyed spending time with me
