Summary: Hello my name is Arlene Michel, I am 24 years old with experience in taking care of children between the ages of 6-16 as well as newborn - 2 years old children in my home. I am working from home for Advocate Aurora Hospital and work the hours of 6 AM - 2:30 PM. I can babysit after or during that time depending on your childs age/needs. I have no problem in baby sitting for second shift parents also. My personality is very sweet, patient and respectful. I also have an associates degree, am a certified medical assistant, CPR certified and speak both Spanish and English. I was also a weekend church school teacher for 3 years for children in grades 1-4th. I am only open to taking care of children in my home at this time. I also do have 2 pets - a super friendly, non-violent 5 year old teddy bear puppy named Sophie and a 4 month old very friendly baby kitten names Shy. I can keep both pets in a separate room if desired by you. Also, both pets are up to date on ALL shots. When touring my home you will be introduced to both pets for your approval. A tour of my home is available via facetime or skype upon request or You are more than welcome to take a tour of my home in person before hiring me as your sitter. Just please wear a mask. I have a big fenced yard were your children could play in (weather permitting and with your permission). I love doing arts and crafts things which I could incorporate during babysitting hours.
