Sitter in Copperas Cove, Texas

My name is Paula. I'm a divorced mother of a 13 year old girl. I share custody of her with her father. I also helped to raise my youngest brother who was about 13 years younger than me. I babysat almost every weekend for several different families as a teenager on a regular basis. I have an Associates degree in General Studies from CTC and worked as a PE aide one year and Special Education Aide in the LEAP room (a class that specializes in instructing and interacting with children who have Autism) at Clements Parsons Elementary School one year. I currently and for the last 14 years have worked remotely for a technology company based out of San Marcos overnights. I am one of three overnight floor managers. My duties include answering phone calls and emails from clients, reporting outages that our agents have discovered, passing information from the clients about outages to the agents so that they can inform the clients' customers, supervising agents and verifying they are actively taking calls and chat sessions and not abusing restrooms and breaks. I am currently CPR and First Aid certified. I formerly was a Girl Scout Co-Leader, a Sunday School teacher and a Nursery Worker, so I have a lot of experience with children and with technology. I have a valid license and while I do not have a vehicle at the moment, my roommate does and if I should need it one day for errands or outings, as long as I know ahead of time I should be able to borrow it for the day from him. If something comes up at last minute or an emergency and I do not have the vehicle that day not only is my roommate in town because we live in Copperas Cove, but so are my parents and both of my brothers, so I should have no trouble with transportation even if there is a day where I do not have the truck and I need it. I am available pretty much all day any day. I work overnights remotely Saturday to Wednesday Morning midnight to 7a.m. so anytime after 7a.m. I am available and if it is an emergency or if nobody else can be found I can actually start than 7a.m. as all morning except for Monday I am the back up FM from 4am until 7am so I do very little actively.
