Hello! My name is Lindsay, a 27 year old qualified teacher living in Vaughan. I am currently an Occasional (Supply) Teacher with the York Region District School Board. I have graduated from York University with a degree in Sociology, and have also completed my Masters in Education. I am qualified to teach Kindergarten to Grade 12 here in Ontario. I am also a Registered Early Childhood Educator with lots of experience in the field of child care and education. I absolutely love working with children of all ages in various settings. While working at a childcare centre as an RECE and Assistant Supervisor I have gained plenty of skills that I can apply to my current work. I have worked one-on-one with a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, supervised large groups of children independently following ratios, planned for as well as implemented developmentally appropriate activities, and tended to children's emotional & physical needs. I am an enthusiastic, friendly and caring childcare provider, all while behaving in a professional manner.
