Sitter in Manhattan, New York

My experience includes babysitting for approximately a year, and being a summer camp counselor for four years. I have also tutored children from 5-9 years in English and Math on and off since I was 15. English is my specialty, as I scored a perfect score on the CAHSEE in English. I also scored near perfect on the English and Reading scores of the ACT. I believe that the most important tool in life is to understand more than a single culture so that the child can grow up to be open-minded. New York is a great city to grow up in because you have so many cultures around you. I, myself, was raised in San Francisco so I loved exploring the ethnic cuisines and the museums that the city had to offer. Reading is also an important skill for a child to have because it allows the development of eloquent speech. I hope that you consider me as a tutor or sitter -possibly both!- for your child.
