I am a Child & Youth major at Brock University & I am looking for a child care provider jobs in Grimsby/Beamsville/St. Catharines/Thorold, Ontario. I am available Monday-Friday after 5 pm (I am a 1:1 inclusion support at Brock U Summer Camp) beginning the first week of July. Prior to this, my availability can be flexible! I am available Saturday/Sunday as required. Services And Training: I can be responsible for: - Playdate supervision - Homework help - Travel support - Swimming supervision - Children with exceptionalities - Meal preparation I have certifications in: - Standard First Aid & CPR (including infant CPR) - High Five: Principles of Healthy Child Development - Previously certified in National Lifeguard/Swim for Life Instructor I have a drivers license and my own transportation. When it comes to previous training, I was a lifeguard & swim instructor for 4 years and instructed children aged 0 - 15. I have experience working in Nursery Care at the YMCA, as well as experience working with children with various exceptionalities. I volunteer with the Learning Disability Association of the Niagara Region in intervention for children aged 4 - 7 who have or are at risk of a learning disability.
