Hello! My name is Sam, I am a university and practical nurse graduate. I have strong background and lots of experience in working with children, from the in-home daycare that my family used to run, to leading drama camps, tutoring, soccer coaching and working at a specialized camp for children and adults with additional needs. Therefore, making sure that children are being engaged through a variety of activities and expanding their creative minds is very important to me. Having recently graduated from a Practical Nursing program, I have experience in placements from a variety of medical fields. I am a responsible individual, who prioritizes treating people with respect, compassion and dignity while promoting independence, and I am able to multitask very well while maintaining attention to details. Currently I am not pursuing a medical career, as I am focused on a creative direction in illustrating children's book and mindfulness comics! This vision will take some time to reach, so I am looking for Part Time work doing something that I love, is fun and inspiring to me-which is caring for kiddos!
