Sitter in St. Catharines, Ontario

Hi there! My name is Jordan and I'm a 3rd year student at Brock University, and am residing in the St. Catharines area at the moment, but will be moving to Thorold in May. I've had the opportunity to work for Brock during my first two years, but unfortunately with current events I am no longer working there and am studying through asynchronous online classes. This has left me with a super flexible and open schedule till at least September 2021! I have had the opportunity to babysit/nanny for several families back in my hometown, but have seriously missed working with children since living here for school. It's completely understandable to be worried about trusting your child with someone new, so let me take a moment to tell you about myself! I grew up in Burlington, ON with two stepbrothers living with us part-time and our family pet, a bulldog named Harlee. I have always been a sporty person, playing volleyball throughout elementary & high school and have always been an outdoorsy person. Since the beginning of quarantine last March, I also learned that I enjoy painting, drawing, etc., which was a skill I had no idea I held before. I always absolutely love school, reading and writing have always been one of my stronger skills, and have tutored children in the past within these areas. I constantly strive to make babysitting an enriching experience for the child, through my energetic and upbeat personality, preparing crafts and other fun activities for us to do, and providing homework help/guidance when needed. I am comfortable with all animals (reptiles, large animals, etc.) as I spent my childhood volunteering in a pet store, and would also be willing to provide light housework, meal preparation and other tasks to help out!
