Summary: Hello, my name is Jasmyne. I am hoping to find a baby-sitter employment opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I’m available from 8:00am-5:30pm weekdays and occasional weekends, and I am hoping to babysit from my own home. I have a child of my own and am a stay at home mom/wife. I graduated with a BA in early childhood education and have had many babysitting jobs in the past and along the way, and have also worked at a daycare. I have gained lots of experiences from them as well as from becoming a mother myself, and am also well educated in childhood needs/development. I’m great with kids. I’m energetic, respectful, responsible, nurturing, attentive and I enjoy doing outdoors activities as well as finding fun indoor activities to do. More about me: I have worked at Southwest Child Care a couple years back before I decided to branch out on my own. Working at a daycare was great, but because there are more children to watch, it is harder to give each child proper attention that they need and deserve, which is why I prefer to work with 1-5 children at a time. I enjoy creating a safe and attentive environment as well as making genuine connections with each child. Since branching out on my own, I have cared for 5 other children, all have been long term positions before they started kindergarten. My most recent child care experience was these last 4 years. I began this position caring for a 6 month old four years ago up until recently, she is now 4 and the family is moving out of state. Actives I like to do with children: Some activities I enjoy doing with children is reading, drawing and coloring, dancing, making easy snacks (let them assist so it’s more enjoyable and prompts them to eat more fruits/vegetables), play “teacher” (fun way for them to learn basic things like numbers, letters, animals), light sensory activities for their specific age to help with brain development, motor skills, and memory.
