I am an active single individual that is honest, caring, loving, compassionate, and out-going and loves to contribute to the community anyway I can. I love to volunteer and get enjoyment from helping others. I love playing sports and staying active, enjoy the outdoors and experiencing new things. My experience as Girl Guide leader for Brownies and Guides has equipped me with all of the necessary tools to create positive and dynamic relationships with children and parental needs. Girl Guides has equipped me with the skills and attributes that allow me to adapt activities for age specific material that allows the children to learn and grow in a manner they don’t realize they are being stimulated intellectually. My experience as a Snowboard Instructor for CADS (Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing/Snowboarding) and Ski Hawks, has enabled me to meet the needs of children with many special needs in a variety of situations. I also have a experience with caring for infants and feel more then comfortable in a variety of situations. I have attained my secondary school diploma, as well as a Leadership Development program offered by the City of Ottawa, and courses and training throughout my involvement with Girl Guides of Canada including High Five Training which is part of Early Childhood Education program. I am certified in CPR level C and first aid and have a valid PRC. I am also completely bilingual and feel more than comfortable conducting day-to-day business in either official language.
