Hello! My name is Sam I am currently a student teacher at Simon Fraser University looking to employ my childcare skills and experience for occasional babysitting work. I finished my Bachelor of General Studies in Education in spring 2018 with a special focus on Early Childhood Education and Developmental Psychology. I began the teaching program in the fall which I am scheduled to complete Dec 2019. I have nearly 10 years of childcare experience including 5 years of occasional babysitting, 3 years of nannying, and 3 years as a daycare teacher. I have also volunteered in a kindergarten classroom, coached children’s sports, tutored, and worked in summer camps for typically developing children and children with autism. I have a recent criminal record check and up to date first aid and CPR-C cerification. I love working with all children but prefer to work with those aged 3-8. I enjoy reading, making crafts, baking and playing games.
