I have both childcare and adult/disability care experience. As a certified CNA I take a very detail oriented and truly passionate approach to care taking. I have previously worked full time in a licensed daycare facility back home in Georgia and later as an aupair and live-in nanny for many years in various locations as I moved to pursue my education in Merchandising/Marketing at the NY Art Institute. Nanny positions are my preferred path for extra income because I just simply love taking care of kids and feel like I have a way of getting through to them. Additionally, I have experience caring for children with special needs and behavior issues -- but no matter who the child is/children are that I'm caring for I work to build a bond based on respect and love. When I'm not caring for kids I am working on my freelance interior design business and doing event planning including birthday parties, weddings, fundraising/charity events and more.
