My philosophy on being a teacher/care giver has molded in to gaining trust with families, healthy foods, physical activities, music and movement, dramatic play, science, construction on building, using more natural materials. building strong and positive relationships with children, education in the early years I believe that we need to place focus on building lasting memories and being flexible with how we teach our children and lead by example to do the right thing. I also have a background with working with high needs children and Aboriginal Children. I am currently the Special Needs Educator at Nanook Child Care YMCA and Family Development. I educate and have a zest for working with families and children. I have been at Nanook for 5 years. Just so you have an idea what I do. I have my Basic Early Childhood Educator and Infant and Toddler Diploma and Special Needs I have my First Aid & Criminal Record all on file.
