Howdy! Thank you for taking time to read my bio. I have over 15 years of experience in child care; mostly in my home (I am willing to care for children in their home; wherever the parent is most comfortable.) and in the nursery at my church as well. I have babysat for several families all over the state of Texas, while earning my degrees in college. I have a B. S. in psychology and M. A. In clinical psychology, specializing in developmental and abnormal psych. This allowed me to practice therapy for children who suffered from depression, PTSD, anxiety, sexual abuse, different traumas, neglect, autism/Asperger's & behavior disorders. This experience has been invaluable in providing care for children. I have two very sweet, adventurous, and loving beautiful school-aged little girls. I love their energy, zest for life, and always wanting to help others in need. They love to read, swim, play with friends, and explore their world! I have been a homemaker for a long time and am more than ready to begin caring for others again ! Your precious children will be treated and loved as my own! I typically charge $10 per hour (for a date night or other short periods of time) but will work with each family depending on their needs.
