Cover Letter About me, as a child, I enjoyed learning and celebrating my successes with the many adults who gave me positive encouragement and made me feel good about myself. I believe that it is very important to celebrate a child's strengths academically and help them see their weaknesses as opportunities to grow. I believe in helping students to reason within themselves conceptually and teach them to think logically about questions and problems they may encounter academically or personally. I started off as a cheerleading coach for an elementary school and did hip-hop classes. It led me to become an enrichment teacher for grades TK-5th grade. For 2 years my subjects consisted of English, math, science, arts, sports, Italian language, and homework assistance. I enjoyed this job but as I always seek new challenges and experiences I left in good standing. I got hired days later to be the only full-time preschool teacher in Westchester in a school named Kaihani, where I spent a good 3 years molding toddlers ages 2-5, successfully prepping them for kindergarten. I created daily lesson plans in which I would send to parents the month prior so they can academically follow their children with me. Together we created an amazing learning experience with the students and great personal understandings with the parents. Currently, I am a homeschool teacher for 5-8-year olds, where I am teaching 1 family’s children for the time being. I am currently in college continuing my childhood education requirements. I am a transfer student with a major in chemistry. Currently, in the STEM Program. I do plan on graduating and possibly pursuing the career of a patent agent, my ultimate goal would be to retire as a Chemistry Professor because I love teaching and educating the young minds of tomorrow.
