My name is Jennifer, I have worked with children for around 16 years. I love doing arts and crafts and playing games. I enjoy being outside, going to the park, or for a walk looking for bugs or "treasures" along the way. I always try to get children to use their imaginations like saving a princess from the dragon on our walk as we tip toe so he won't hear us coming. I really try hard to keep kids busy and having fun. I am not a big fan of watching excessive amounts of tv or video games. I would much rather read books together or work on fun little projects. I have worked at home day cares and day care centers in the past. It was always a dream of mine to have a home day care of my own, I just haven't made it happen yet In more recent years I have worked doing PCA work for people of all different ages. I truly enjoy working with families and getting to know them. I think it is so important for people to feel like they have someone they can connect with and feel comfortable with. I also love to cook and bake. I usually go online or through a cook book with the kids to find something they think would be good to try and have them involved in the process as much as possible so they can proudly share their creations with their family. I don't mind doing housework at all. If there is anything I can do to help make the day smoother for your family, that is what I am there for. We all need a break sometimes to just enjoy the day!
