I am from Ohio but just recently moved from Colorado Springs. My fiance, Tyler, is now the Director of Athletic Development at SFA and that is what brought us out here. Outdoors & animals are a few of my favorite things. From babysitting in high school for infants to 6-yr-olds, I was able to utilize those skills and extend them throughout my college experience as I worked with children of all ages. Working as a Child Care Associate LA Fitness for 2 yrs allowed me to work closely with families to provide a safe & quality learning environment for each child. I supervised & monitored the safety of children, 2 mo-12 yrs old, I also organized educational activities that met individual needs of each child. Working as a Nutrition Service Coordinator for an organization called Wholesome Tummies allowed me to serve & engage children, 4-18 yrs old, & their families on consuming healthier more nutritiously prepared meals. I have a true passion for educating people to make better nutritional decisions. I wish to motivate & guide families to maintain a healthier lifestyle with the right knowledge as I expand my experience.
