Hello, I would like to thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about me. I was born and raised in Ecuador, I'm fluent in spanish. I arrived to the US when I was eleven years old. I am over thirty years old with an associates degree, a surgical tech school certificate and would like to go back to school to pursue nursing. I come from a big family with twelve nieces and nephews from various ages, two of which were diagnosed with autism. I have a teenage son, nieces and nephews are my primary experience with working with children. Few things I love about children is that they are eager to learn and everyday is a learning experience for them whether it is indoors (reading, spelling, board games occasional learning shows) or outdoors (museums, parks/ trails, short/long walks depending on the weather). I encourage children to explore and think outside the box as long as they are safe, respectful to themselves and others. I love the outdoors and enjoy every chance I get to go hiking with my family, friends and two fur babies (dogs). I would like to find a long term family as I am a firm believer of permanent people in child's life to build trust and keep the feel of safety. I speak English and Spanish fluently. I am reliable, loving, patient, a non-smoker, own my own car and have a clean driving record.
