Summary: Nice to meet you! My name is Kimberly I moved down to South Carolina about 4 years ago to tend to my mother who was ill with Dementia. My Mom did, however pass, and as such, I am ready to get back to doing what I truly love, which is caring for children and at the same time hopefully making a family's life a little easier from day to day in any way I can, i.e pick up, drop offs, cooking meals, errands, laundry, etc. I am also the proud mother of a 21 year old son who works full time for I.U.O.E. Local 14-14b NYC. I would like to tell you a little about my background and experience. My career for over 25 years was in an office environment in which I worked as a Paralegal. I was fortunate enough in the last 6 or so years to be able to have a change of career as a childcare provider to two wonderful families. Prior to my move down here, I was employed as a Special Needs Aide in our local high school for children grades 9-12. With that being said, I believe I have the experience of a mom to an amazing young adult and also the experience working as a caregiver outside the home as well as working with special needs children. I can assure you that your children will be in the best hands! I am well versed in helping out with homework, making lunches, getting knapsacks and school clothes ready each day as to make sure nobody goes to school unprepared. I also have a ton of experience with after school activities such as, picking up and dropping off, to ensure the child/children arrive at their destination prepared and in a timely fashion.
