My name is Candace I live in Wallingford Connecticut. I am married with two children. My son is 18 and my daughter is 16. I have many years experience caring for children through babysitting, doing before & after school care, caring for children full days in the summer months and working at a local elementary school part-time. I also have experience caring for special needs children. Due to the types of jobs I do, I am finger printed and background checked and this puts many families that I work with at ease. I also have first-aid/CPR experience, reasonable rates and can furnish references upon request. I used to be a paralegal. When my children were small my parents passed away suddenly at only 4 months apart. At this time I decided to take a few years off to be home with my kids. My house ended up to be the place that all the kids loved to hang out and play!! I loved being around the kids so much, that I opted not to go back paralegal work, but rather do childcare full time. I did have a home daycare for approximately 4 years, but closed it because I was caring for many children in their homes .
